Senior Associate Scientist Immunology
Our client is a global R&D organisation with its global mission to deliver health through food to as many people as possible. Their research and innovation areas have evolved, but they still begin with insights into nutrients and their role in optimal health, and build on that knowledge to tailor solutions for nutritional needs throughout the lifespan of their target populations.
The immunology team is small team of 15 people, containing sr. scientists, scientists and assistant scientistst.
We are looking for a Senior Associate Scientist who can strengthen our client’s immunology team. In their ISO certified immunology lab we need an experienced Senior Associate Scientist to help our client’s team in achieving their ambitious goals.
For that we need a person who can initiate, supervise and perform experiments of the highest quality. Various biological assays are up and running, however there is also a need for the development of new immunological assays of which we expect a significant contribution by the Senior Associate Scientist. Examples of the various techniques involved are: ELISAs, immunoCAP, ISAC, multiplex, flowcytometry, in vitro cell (co)culture systems and western blot. All assays are performed with lage batches of small samples.
The assays are used for (pre)clinical study samples and validation of these assays according to ISO standards including the newly developed. The (associate) scientist preferably has several years of experience working in an ISO certified immunology lab and is aware of all the rules and regulations for working within a quality system.
Qualifications for the Senior Associate Scientist:
- Preferable HBO background or higher in a life sciences background
- Preferably ISO experience
- Precise / secure
- Efficient and stress resistant
- Team player
- Experience with ELISA, ImmunoCAP, ISAC and cellular assays
This role is a temporary position for three months through Herakles starting Sep 1. Fluency in Dutch is required (must have). Contract extention is an option. Fulltime availability is preferred
The maximum annual salary is € 51.000,- depending on experience.
